CJC-1295: lasting GH and IGF-1 signals, still no outcome trials

Human studies from the mid-2000s showed days-long hormone changes. 2025–2026 reviews still have no efficacy RCTs for wellness uses.

CJC-1295 is a long-acting GHRH analog. A covalent “DAC” modification extends its half-life. In healthy adults, Teichman and colleagues reported GH rising for about six days and IGF-1 remaining elevated for roughly 9–11 days after a subcutaneous dose.

What those trials measured

They measured hormones and short-term safety, not body composition, injury healing, or aging. No serious adverse reactions were reported in those small studies; that is not long-term safety in thousands of people.

What 2026 reviews still say

Gerontology reviews in 2026 still list CJC-1295 as lacking efficacy RCTs for anti-aging claims. Stacking it with ipamorelin is a culture, not a published combination program.

Bottom line

Evidence ladder: Human pilot (pharmacology). A long IGF-1 curve is a mechanism, not a clinical win.
