Ipamorelin: selective GH release without a modern outcome program
Early papers called ipamorelin unusually GH-selective. Later clinical development for ileus did not produce a wellness franchise.
Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide ghrelin-receptor (GHS-R) agonist. Classic pharmacology work described GH release with less effect on cortisol and ACTH than some older secretagogues.
Where clinical development went
Registered trials later explored postoperative ileus — a hospital problem, not a gym problem. That program did not turn ipamorelin into an approved recovery or fat-loss drug. There is still no modern RCT showing ipamorelin improves body composition or “recovery” in healthy adults.
Why it is paired with CJC-1295 online
The stack story is receptor theory: GHRH analog plus ghrelin-mimetic. Theory is cheap. Outcome data for the stack are essentially absent.
